Urban Blinds – Warranty Information

At Urban Blinds, we stand behind the quality of our products. Every blind we sell is designed to offer long-lasting performance, durability, and comfort in your home. Please review the warranty details below for each product category.

1. Standard Warranty Coverage

All Urban Blinds products include a limited manufacturer’s warranty that covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Material defects

  • Mechanism or component faults

  • Premature failure under normal residential use

This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper installation, water damage, stains, pets, or normal wear and tear.

2. Product-Specific Warranty

Zebra Blinds

  • Warranty Length: 3 Years

  • Covers fabric defects, mechanism issues, and cassette hardware problems.

Roller Blinds

  • Warranty Length: 3 Years

  • Covers fabric, chain systems, rolling tubes, and end caps.

Drapery Panels (Drapes)

  • Warranty Length: 2 Years

  • Covers fabric defects, lining issues, and track malfunction (if purchased through us).

Motorized Blinds

  • Warranty Length: 1 Year on Motors + 3 Years on Fabric

  • Covers motor failure, remote control malfunction, and electrical components.

  • Batteries and chargers are covered for 6 months.

3. What’s Not Covered

This warranty does NOT apply to:

  • Damage from improper installation not done by Urban Blinds

  • Altered or tampered products

  • Fading due to direct sunlight (normal exposure)

  • Cuts, stains, or tears caused by user handling

  • Commercial or heavy-duty use unless stated otherwise

4. How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product qualifies for warranty service:

  1. Contact our support team at Contact Us

  2. Provide:

    • Your name and contact info

    • Description of the problem

Our team will review your claim and respond within 3–5 business days. If approved, we will repair, replace, or offer a suitable solution at no cost.

5. Installation Warranty (If Installed by Us)

Urban Blinds offers a 1-year installation warranty that covers:

  • Loose brackets

  • Improper leveling

  • Mechanism alignment issues

This applies only to installations completed by Urban Blinds technicians.
